Below are answers to some of the most common questions families ask when considering live streaming or audio-visual support for a funeral service.
Will the stream be reliable on the day? What if something goes wrong?
Yes — we bring professional equipment, test everything onsite, and provide our own internet where needed. We’ve never had a failed stream. You’ll also have a dedicated operator managing everything live. We also have a back up recording.
What if someone misses the live stream? Can they watch it later?
Absolutely. The viewing link is available for 12 months and a private recording is included and made available to the booking client to download for up to 14 days or longer if needed. Many families tell us how comforting it is to have this after the day.
Is the setup intrusive or distracting during the service?
Not at all. Our team dresses appropriately, keeps gear discreet, and is careful to stay out of the way. Most guests don’t even realise the service is being streamed.
How do I share the live stream with friends and family?
We send you a simple link you can share via text, email, or social media. There’s no app to download, and the page is personalised with your loved one’s name.
How much notice do you need to take a booking?
We often support services with just a few days’ notice, sometimes even less. However, availability can be limited, so it’s best to confirm as soon as possible.
What if there’s no internet at the venue?
We use a bonded internet solution, and in most cases, it’s more reliable than the venue’s own connection. If needed, we can also supply satellite internet or record and upload the service shortly after.
Can you include photo slideshows or music during the stream?
Yes — we can include slideshows, recorded messages, or even music tributes as part of the broadcast. Just let us know what you'd like, and we’ll guide you through how to send the files and how we manage this for the live stream.
How do I know who’s watching? Can I see who viewed it?
While the stream itself doesn’t show a viewer list for privacy reasons, many families tell us they received messages from loved ones afterwards via our online attendance register who watched and appreciated it deeply.
